Every time you pay, two things usually happen: your bank sends a transaction SMS, and the merchant (or your card) sends an email receipt. SpentyAI reads those, pulls out the amount, the merchant and the date, and files the expense for you. AI categorization then sorts it — food, travel, rent, subscriptions — without you tagging anything.

What it does not do, so you know exactly what you're getting: SpentyAI does not log into your bank account. It works from the email and SMS records you already receive, plus statements you import yourself. That's a deliberate privacy choice — there's no bank credential to hand over.
